Earthquake in Pakistan and Afghanistan; FIFA candidates; Syrians in Russia.
The earthquake which struck northern Afghanistan and Pakistan on Sunday was of a magnitude of 7.5. The BBC's Shaimaa Khalil in Kabul reports.
The race to lead world football's governing body, Fifa, intensified yesterday with the deadline for declaring candidacies for the position of president.
