Restrictions in North Korea

Journalists from the BBC World Service were recently invited to witness and report on the 70th anniversary celebrations of the North Korea’s Workers’ Party. However, reporters were only allowed to source stories under the heavy supervision of North Korean authorities. Listeners from around the world question how constraints such as these may restrict and hinder the coverage of the reclusive state.
