Pope Francis Arrives in the United States
Pope welcomed by President Obama, China's Xinjiang province, Diplomacy in Burkina Faso.
Pope Francis has been greeted by President Obama at the start of his first ever visit to the United States. He is expected to draw massive crowds in all the three cities he is visiting during his trip.
In a controversial move, the British Chancellor George Osborne is in China, travelling to the remote Xinjiang province. This is highly unusual as the region is politically sensitive in China.
In Burkina Faso, attempts are being made to resolve the crisis following a coup there last week.
