Inside Jordan's Zaatari refugee camp; Nigerian army rescues women; Hugging your children
The sight of many of their compatriots being given asylum in Europe has prompted many Syrians in refugee camps in the Middle East and Turkey to abandon plans to return home. Gavin White works for the UNHCR in Jordan's Zaatari refugee camp. He says, "It used to be that the people here wanted to return to Syria. Now they want to go to Europe."
The army in Nigeria say it has rescued dozens of women and children abducted by the Islamist group, Boko Haram, in the northeastern state of Borno. In a statement the army said it had cleared Boko Haram camps, but it didn't say where the women and children had been captured or how long ago.
