Thousands Continue To Make Difficult Journeys In Search Of Sanctuary
Thousands make it across the border; Northern Ireland political crisis; Nigeria's de-radicalising plan
Thousands of migrants continue to make difficult journeys in search of a sanctuary. Wet weather on Hungary's southern border with Serbia has left migrants having to walk muddy roads in search of warmth and shelter.
Northern Ireland First Minister has stepped aside and other DUP ministers have resigned as a result of the political crisis at Stormont.
The crisis was sparked by the murder of ex-IRA man Kevin McGuigan, last month. Police said that IRA members may have been involved in the killing.
As Boko Haram continues to wreak havoc in north east Nigeria as well as across the country's borders, the military effort is being ramped up. But now the government is also using a different tool in the fight against the jihadists. Dubbed the soft approach to terrorism, it has launched various programmes including de-radicalising captured Boko Haram members.
