As the situation continues to deteriorate for people waiting at Roszke camps in Hungary, Nyilas Gergo, correspondent for the online magazine 'Index' poses as a migrant from Kyrgyzstan, to see how refugees are being treated. He speaks to Newsday.

Climate change is causing polar ice to melt raising sea levels globally but there are other dangers buried beneath the ice. Scientists have discovered a giant, 30,000 year old virus in samples of melted Siberian permafrost. Mollivirus Sibericum was assumed to be dormant but was easily re-activated suggesting it and other similar viruses may pose a huge threat to humans in the near future. Scientist Chantal Abergel explains this unique discovery.

Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia are facing a bumpy road as the Swiss mining giant Glencore announced it will suspend production at two massive copper mines due to falling market prices.
