Australia To Accept 12,000 Syrian Refugees

Australia refugees, US airport fire, Smithsonian spaceship

The Australian government has announced plans to accept 12,000 refugees from Syria. The individuals will come from what it calls "persecuted minorities".

There have been dramatic scenes at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, as a British Airways aircraft full of passengers caught fire on the runway.

And The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C is calling on fans of the TV Series Star Trek to help re-build the original model of the USS Enterprise. The 11 foot long star ship has been heavily modified, but they're hoping to return it to its original state.
