Former Hungarian Leader Welcomes Refugees
Welcoming refugees in Hungary, China remembers end of World War Two, South Africa's ghost civil servants.
Ferenc Gyurcsany and his family take in groups for a night or two at their home, groups of up to 10 people, allocated by a local volunteer group who are helping the most needy. This is unusual in itself. What makes it even more unusual is that Ferenc Gyurcsany is the former prime minister of Hungary.
President Xi Jingping has sought to project an image of China as a major power, thrust into prominence by its victory over Japan 70 years ago.
And in South Africa a major row is brewing as officials in the North-West Province say an investigation has revealed some 36,000 civil servants on the payroll who cannot be accounted for.
