Having been in the role for just under a year, Mary explains the changes she hopes to bring to the network and the inspiration behind them. Rajan then hands the reins over to the global audience who quiz Mary about whether there is enough input from local journalists, how budget cuts will impact the BBC World Service and whether science programming could focus more on environmental issues.
