Greece is expected to give Euro-zone countries details of its proposals to end the financial crisis.
At least 12 people have been killed in an atack at a quarry in Kenya. The attack is said to have the hallmarks of Al-Shabab.
One of Africa's most prestigious literary awards, The Caine Prize has been won by the Zambian writer Namwali Serpell for her short story, The Sack.
