Nigeria Hails "Total Support" from G7

World leaders back Buhari; HSBC jobs axed; Hunt goes on for escaped killers

President Buhari's spokesman claims that G7 leaders have given Nigeria "unconditional support" in it's fight against Boko Haram - and are also offering help to develop the economy.
One of the world's biggest banks, HSBC, has announced the first details of a major cost-cutting exercise. It's planning to cut twenty thousand jobs around the world as it tries to reduce costs and simplify its business.
A manhunt is continuing for a fourth day in the United States after two convicted murderers escaped from a maximum security prison in New York. Richard Matt and David Sweat used power tools to make their escape by cutting and drilling through the prison walls. They then used clothes to pad out their beds to make it appear they were asleep - and they left a note saying "have a nice day"
