Texas Cop Video, Turkey Vote
Debate over Texas cops' response to a pool party incident, and reaction to Turkey's election.
A Texas police officer has been suspended after a video surfaced showing cops dealing with a disturbance at a local pool. The kids at the pool party are all black, the officers all white. At one point, one of the officers pulls a gun on one of the teenagers. Lots of people are commenting on the relationship between the police and the local community and saying the video shows officers acting with undue force. Others are blaming the kids for arguing with the officers. We hear that conversation.
Turks are taking stock of the weekend’s election in which the ruling AK party lost its majority. Does this show that Turks are falling out of love with President Erdogan?
Also, the twitter storm in India and Bangladesh after Indian PM Modi said at the weekend that the Bangladesh PM is committed to fighting terror despite being a woman. And more reaction to last week's devastating floods in Ghana.
