No Clear Winner in Turkey Election
No majority in Turkey poll, Controversy over pool party video, Ivory Coast lose 10-0 to Germany at World Cup
Turkey's governing party, the AKP, has lost its parliamentary majority for the first time in 13 years. The result is being seen as a blow to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his plan to change the constitution to extend his powers. But with 41% of the vote, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu insists his party has won.
In Texas a police officer has been suspended after outrage over a video of police and teenagers outside a pool party. The officer was accused of manhandling one of the women at the party. Most of the youngsters were black and the incident is being seen as another example of rough treatment by police of African Americans.
At the Women's World Cup in Canada, Ivory Coast have been thrashed 10-0 in their first match by tournament favourites Germany.
