Live from St Charles, Missouri
We hear from a mainly white area of Missouri to hear about the Ferguson shooting, the police, the rioting, and how different communities co-exist in their city.
The World Have Your Say team is in Missouri for a second day, hearing reaction from local people to the fatal shooting of black teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson ten days ago. There's been more unrest overnight in the neighbourhood of Ferguson, and police have arrested 31 people, despite appeals for calm by President Obama and other officials. The shooting of an unarmed black man by a white policeman has inflamed racial tensions in St Louis and beyond. Yesterday's show came from the street where Michael Brown was shot; today we're in a mainly white area of St Louis to hear the views of local people about the shooting, the police, the rioting, and how different communities co-exist in their city.
