How should countries respond to Crimea's self-declared independence from Ukraine?
The region's parliament has formally declared independence from Ukraine after the referendum on Sunday which - according to officials - overwhelmingly backed leaving. Ukraine's government has said it will not recognise the results. Countries are now debating how best to respond, in particular weighing up whether to impose sanctions on Russia.
