As the world focuses on this weekend’s referendum in Crimea, Over to You hears from BBC Monitoring in Kiev about how news about the vote is being reported in Ukraine and the way that TV channels in Crimea have transformed into Russian channels.
Also, there was a big social media reaction to the recent Freedom 2014 documentary, Freedom to be Single, about the discrimination faced by single women in India. Rajan Datar speaks to the programme’s presenter, Rupa Jha, about the status of single women in her country and why the programme stimulated such social media interest.
