Today is international Holocaust and Genocide day. How do you teach the next generation about genocide? Should it be compulsory for children to be taught the often brutal facts of a country's role in the history? Germany, Rwanda, and Cambodia, have all experienced genocides. Jewish parents in Israel have debated the proposal to teach their five-year-olds about their history. Some felt it could be too traumatic for them to digest. What's the best way to teach the past?
