Reporting Typhoon Haiyan

The problems of getting aid and relief to victims of the catastrophic typhoon which hit the Philippines have made the headlines – so how have news reporters been able to get the stories out of a place where so many facilities have been destroyed. Rajan Datar talks to the BBC’s Jo Floto in Tacloban about the challenges that the BBC has faced in getting correspondents into the devastated city and the need to balance the priorities of reporting with the requirements to get aid to the victims.
