We’ll be at a Roma site outside of London talking to members of the travelling community. This comes after a week when three Roma families – one in Greece and two in the Republic of Ireland – have had their children removed from them. In both Irish cases, authorities’ concerns proved unfounded – although in Greece, DNA testing has shown the blonde child was not biologically related to her parents. The cases have highlighted attitudes towards the Roma across Europe.
