Miracle Village in Florida is home to over 100 sex offenders. Do the strict residency rules prevent re-offending?
Deep in South Florida’s sugar cane country and two miles from the nearest town, Miracle Village is a unique community - over half of its residents are registered sex offenders. It was established in 2009 by a Christian pastor and is home to over 100 sex offenders. What is it like to live on the fringes of society? But more importantly, do the strict residency rules make the population safer, and prevent re-offending?
