The Woman Who Forgave Her Rapist

Matthew Bannister meets the Sierra Leonean woman who made a dance of reconciliation with the man who attacked her during the civil war.

Satta Joe was raped during a rebel attack on her village in Sierra Leone. As part of a project to help the country recover from the civil war, Satta agreed to forgive her attacker and take part in a dance of reconciliation.

Also, Dr Ahmad Sarmast is an Afghan trumpeter who started a music school in Kabul - now his students are on a tour of the US.

And Jackson Gutierrez, the Venezuelan barber from Caracas who has made a movie based on his experiences in the slum district of Caracas.
