Facebook’s photo sharing service Instagram has angered users over confusion about whether it can sell peoples photos to advertisers without their notification.
Instagram has said users had incorrectly interpreted its revised terms of service which it blamed on its ‘confusing’ choice of language.
Many people around the world have protested against the potential use of their pictures and have posted angry comments across social media sites.
In response Instagram has released a statement saying it denies changing its privacy policy.
