The IMF is threatening to throw Argentina out of the Fund if it doesn’t start reporting credible figures for inflation. Some economists fear the country may be sliding towards hyperinflation.

They estimate that it’s crashed from a situation of massive growth in 2011 to a likely recession today. Yet those who attempt to report the dire downward spiral are being threatened with prosecution.
