Ken Loach, Film director
Ken Loach talks about his 50 years of uncompromising and controversial film-making.
The director Ken Loach turned 75 this year, and to celebrate 50 years of his film making the British Film Institute is holding a retrospective of his work.
The centrepiece is a documentary about the charity Save the Children, and it was partly funded by them but when they saw what Ken Loach had made they were horrified and they stopped it from being aired.
That is until now.
Decades later Ken Loach is still uncompromising and controversial. He talks to Sarah Montague.
