Network Africa and World Today special

To mark the creation of the two new countries The World Today and Network Africa will join together for special programming from Juba in the South and Khartoum in the North.

The independent country of South Sudan will split from the North after 27 years of uneasy peace and conflict.

Even now real tensions remain especially after Northern troops seized control of Abyei on the disputed border.
