Has anything changed in the Middle East?

After all the protests, has anything really changed in the Middle East? New rulers are in place in Egypt, Tunisia and parts of Libya. But how new are they? In the post-revolution Middle East, new rulers may still need the people with experience and know-how, and that might mean the old bureacracy, can they rule in a new way? How do those who fought for change see their country now?
