Rajan Datar looks at the difficulties that journalists face when reporting from abroad.

We discuss the ongoing presidential crisis in Ivory Coast and the difficulties faced in reporting it. Rajan hears from John James, BBC correspondent, in Abidjan and Ambrose Pierre, Head of the Africa Desk at Reporters Without Borders.

Rajan is joined by Peter White, the BBC Disability Correspondent, to speak to a blind listener from Kenya who has been inspired by Peter’s new series on the World Service, Blind Man Roams the Globe.
