18/06/2010 | BP Disaster | Bloody Sunday

A weekly look inside British politics from the BBC.

It was a tough week for Prime Minister David Cameron, starting with the first test of his relationship with President Obama. But was there really anything he could say to rescue Britain's reputation after the BP disaster? When it came to Bloody Sunday, there were no words which could excuse the actions of British soldiers in Northern Ireland nearly forty years ago. And with economic cuts in the pipe line for the armed forces, how will all this affect Britain's standing on the world stage? But at least it is curtains for the man with the clip board, on Politics UK. Presented by Shaun Ley.
