Charlie died recently following a long illness. The BBC World Service is currently repeating some of the programmes he recorded. This one was first broadcast in September 2006.

This week the theme of Charlie's programme is "Experiments in Spanish". It's an Iberian extravaganza of music sung in Spanish, composed or perfomed by Spaniards, music associated with Spain, it's all there.
