With car manufactures beginning to bring out their own versions of the electric car, it seems that a revolution in motoring may soon be upon us. The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson says he wants to see 100,000 such vehicles on the city's streets by 2020. But there are still several obstacles to overcome, as Louise Hidalgo reports.
