Peter Day hears from a Japanese businessman about his unique weather service which has grown out of the needs of the shipping industry.

Hiroyoshi Ishibashi started Weathernews Inc in Japan in 1986 to help all types of weather dependent businesses to access accurate and timely weather information. Peter Day hears how the business works and how it came about as the result of a tragic marine accident for which Ishibashi San felt responsible.
