Power in Iran

As the Presidential elections approach we ask who holds the real power in Iran?

Iranians go to the polls on Friday to elect a president. It's been a hotly contested campaign - with four candidates, including the incumbent Mahoud Ahmadinejad. Louise Hidalgo looks at who holds power in Iran, and the relationship between the president and Iran's supreme leader.
