Semi-Final 1

It's the first of the semi-finals, and the theme is popstar, as set by singer Donel, who also acts as our surprise celebrity judge.

The designers have just five hours to create popstar looks for the runway, using only pre-loved and rescued clothes and materials found in the fashion closet. And to make things even harder, the designers have surprise models! Who will turn their parent into a pop star capable of claiming a place in the grand final?

Alongside Donel, resident judges Ayishat Akanbi and Jorge Antonio will send one designer through to the final, taking with them a much-coveted golden coat hanger.
