Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack's mum is confused when he brings home five beans as payment for their cow. She throws them out, but they grow into a beanstalk! What will Jack find when he climbs to the top?

A mean and grumpy giant who lives in the clouds has stolen the villagers' possessions. When Jack discovers a beanstalk that reaches up to the clouds, he climbs up it to get their stolen things back. Will he manage to get away from the giant?

Musicians from the BBC Philharmonic are joined by broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake to share a musical retelling of this well-known fairy tale.
