Episode 2

Drama series. Twelve-year-old Jed and best friends Christie and Zara all live on an army base. They like exploring the woods, dodging authority figures, playing games of soldiers and enjoying the freedom that goes with growing up in a secure environment. Until one day strange things start to happen.

Jed and his mates decide to help Xan Alpha fix his spaceship. They set about gathering the parts he needs to get it going. Paul's romance with Bex goes through a stormy patch, but as the regiment prepares for active service they resolve their troubles and become engaged.

The kids get a shock when they meet Xan's parents, and even more of a shock when Christie suspects that Whedon may have the galaxy shard. They form a plan to find out if it's true, but there is one last surprise in store - bad news that will change everything.
