Beanotown in Bloom

After watching a gardening programme, Mum goes out to buy some new fertiliser for the garden to help her garden look its best for the Beanotown in Bloom garden competition, but before she goes, she asks Dad to bath Gnasher. Instead, Dad watches the football on the TV and asks Dennis to bath Gnasher, but Gnasher panics and runs amok around the back yard, trailed by Dennis. When they stop, they realise that they have completely ruined the garden.

Dennis enlists the help of Curly and Pie Face to try and make the garden better, but their attempt is not much use. Dad panics. Curly and Pie Face overhear that Walter is going to get celebrity gardener Julian Acorn to make his garden over for the competition, and realising that he is cheating, immediately go and tell Dennis. Dennis and Dad work together and pretend to be Walter and his dad, so Julian makes over their back yard instead - and just before Mum arrives home.

Although Mum is happy at her new garden, she does not compete in the garden contest as it would be cheating, and although the garden is better than ever, there is still the challenge of giving Gnasher his bath.
