Factual programme. Ed and Oucho are travelling all over the country making inventions. They are trying to build 'The Waker Upper', a contraption that wakes you up by opening curtains, turning on music and providing biscuits, all without using electricity!
It starts off well, until Ed realises they can use gravity and drops Oucho from a great height. With the Big Big Cheese on their backs, will their general uselessness and lack of science know-how stop them from building the Waker Upper in time?
