Factual series about homeless children. 14-year-old Amanda is finding living in a hostel in north London a big adjustment. She has just started in school and is struggling with the idea of telling her school friends that she is homeless. The pressure of keeping a secret at school and living in uncomfortable accommodation with little money and privacy with her Dad and brother Daniel leads to problems in the family. Amanda decides to tell her school friend about her homeless situation, but is shocked when they are initially negative about other homeless people, before they know her situation.
