A bookish and gentle knight tries to woo a princess, but she tells him he must slay a dragon to win her heart. Resigned to his fate, he arrives at a lair where a mild-mannered, bespectacled dragon is reading a book over a nice cup of tea.
Our cultured and refined friends prepare to do battle, but quickly discover they have a lot in common. They both love the finer things in life: books, intellectual discourse and fine cuisine. A pact is formed as they join forces to break the mould society has cast them in, but can a dragon really change his scales - and can the knight really hang up his chain mail?
