Uncle Max finds himself in the middle of a marathon, and discovers that road safety involves checking both ways for cars, buses and elite Ethiopian athletes. He also discovers that, when tired, runners can be overtaken by two-year-olds, old ladies on walking frames, or even a tortoise.
