Preschool stop-frame animation about Lunar Jim, who lives in Moonaluna, on the second-to-last moon of the Milky Way. Jim, Rover the robotic dog, space mechanic Ripple, space farmer Eco, Ted the clumsy robot and Pixel the main computer all enjoy extraterrestrial adventures.
Jim, Ted and Rover investigate a strange glow in Dark Cave and discover the lunar laser flies, who become attracted to Ted. When the Moonport lights stop working, the flies are put into jars and placed around the Moonport as a substitute for the landing lights.
