Barney Harwood takes us behind the scenes at the Sorcerer’s Apprentice magic school as the 14 wannabe magicians turn up for their first day.

The magical journey is shown from the beginning with exclusive access to the auditions, where hundreds of hopefuls competed for a place at magic school. Barney drops in on housemistress Miss Ford to find out her first impressions of the sorcerees and we feature exclusive footage of their first magic lesson. The magic teachers go head to head in the first teacher challenge and we follow magician David Penn as he takes to the streets to demonstrate the art of vanishing and production.
