Comedy. Taylor Fry feels like a misfit, but deals with the world around her with a little imagination. Taylor is embarrassed when people find out that she wants to be a professional surfer, and covers by claiming she can surf. However, when heart-throb Leon invites her to enter a surfing competition Taylor feels she has no choice but to agree. The situation snowballs as Taylor is forced to learn how to surf within a few short days on her dad's massive Malibu surfboard.
