Birdman or Birdbrain?

Animation series about a boy who is given a magical book for his birthday that acts as a time travelling device.

When pages from The Book transform into Rongorongo script, Freddi, Samantha and Fred are transported back to 1765 to Rapa Nui - Easter Island - where they find themselves jumping off cliffs and swimming through shark-infested waters to the Birdman's island.
