Animation. Joe is given a mysterious, magical book for his birthday that acts as a time travelling device that sends him and his friends, Sam and Fred, warping through time and space.

The boys want to play Vikings Football Smashfest, but instead find themselves in 1000 AD with a bunch of real Vikings. It's one wild ride with Leif Ericson as they sail on his voyage of discovery to North America.
