Title: Never a lender......

When Ian was a child, his parents never borrowed a penny. It just wasn't done. Throughout his life, he's always tried to adopt the same attitude, but it's been hard and he's found himself spending on the credit card every now and then.

One year, after buying a holiday on plastic, he vowed never to do so again, so family holidays were few and far between Now, Ian, who's seventy three, is left wondering if going into debt would've been worth the quality time he would have got with his children.
