Deddington farmer's market is a great social occasion. At Christmas, Father Christmas is installed in a grotto upstairs in the market building. Shoppers are likely to be serenaded on the street organ by Geoff Todd, who could be dubbed the pearly king of Deddington. Geoff organises a street organ festival in Banbury each year (read about it in our festival guide).
