Kit check
Eventual winners The Old Oxford Triathletes go through kit check before setting out.

BBCi Oxford was there when the first team finished in the 2003 Tour de Trigs.

For the last few yards, they were running - and so was our camera.

Team 68 - The Old Oxford Triathletes - finished the Tour de Trigs 28 minutes ahead of the rest of the field, taking the main trophy for the second year in a row.

Kevin Mayo, Mark Edwards and Jonathan Hope are all veterans of the tough 50-mile night hike... but they still managed to lose their way - for a few seconds - just 20 yards from the finish.

For some reason, we edited that bit out of the video.
