BBC Radio Oxford is all about celebrating different aspects of life in Oxfordshire and there are many sports and pastimes that go on without most of us even knowing that they're there.
Many villages and towns have bowling greens where people all dressed in white play what seems to be a gentle sport in the summer, but did you know that they all hide away and continue to play indoors in village halls on carpets during the winter?
Mark Watson went to Eynsham one night to find out more about this hidden sport for the afternoon programme.
The first chat above is with the Eynsham Team Captain Dave Francis, their opponents chairman on that evening David Dix from the Charbury club and Eynsham's secretary and youngest player Amanda Davis.
Its Mark's turn to have a go in Part 2 of the audio. The club's chairman Phil Pratley gave Mark and his son Karl some tuition and explained how the game is played.
If you have an interesting hobby or secret sport that doesn’t get much exposure and you'd like to invite BBC Radio Oxford along to see what you do and have a go, phone 08459 311444, write to PO Box 95.2, Oxford, or email radio.oxford@bbc.co.uk.
