FreeSlave
22-year-old Haydon Spenceley has been performing under the name of FreeSlave for 4 years now, joined by different musicians throughout this period.

Following the production of his album "Songs for the dying" Haydon was introduced to Aaron Lewis, Ben Lewis and Matt Brombley, and the now four piece FreeSlave, was born.
The fact that Haydon is a wheelchair user, seems to have sparked interest in many. This is something that the band don't mind talking about but they are keen to remind people that it is their music that matters most.
"We definitely don't view FreeSlave as a medium for the promotion of disabled rights. But if we have a positive effect by getting out and playing gigs or being played on the radio, then that can only be a good thing."
The band are certainly getting out there, and people are beginning to talk about FreeSlave. The up and coming new alt-rock lineup has recently been featured on the Radio 1 documentary Access denied, have their own high quality website and can also be found on MySpace. Their album Songs for the dying will be available shortly. A list of upcoming FreeSlave gigs can be found on the group's website.
Haydon has sent us two tracks; listen to them below.
